My name is Samuel Hadfield and I am a 17-year-old, mixed race teenage boy. This blog is not really for me; it's yours. The idea came from an article I read, saying that the number of mixed-race citizens in Britain, and indeed the rest of the world, is growing rapidly. It then hit me that there isn't really a platform for people from a mix of races to display their varying experiences of life. One of the main aims of this is to demonstrate that the term 'Mixed-raced' applies to a vast quantity of people and is not exclusive to those with an Afro-Caribbean heritage.
